Ventura Pots consists of a wife and husband team, working together to cast sustainable concrete adornments without sacrificing the quality standards of our proprietary concrete mix design. The husband, Ali runs a pre-cast family business and oversees day to day tasks from sales to production and new product development. The wife, Sarah comes from a background in Environmental Science, striving to implement conservative efforts in our architectural pre-cast production facility. Having the experience of owning a small family business together, the concept of making small pots and furnishing accessories seemed fitting for a young and endeavoring couple. 

Our mission is quite simple yet specific to an environmental goal. We strive to create and offer aesthetically pleasing concrete castings from the byproducts of a cast stone manufacturing operation; we aim to revitalize, reuse and recycle the slag and water used in the production of these masonry units. Concrete is one of the most utilized materials in the construction industry world-wide, leading to about 4%-8% of our planet’s carbon footprint. Although durable and outlasting most of the other building materials, the Ready Mixed Concrete Association estimates about one pound of concrete releases an equivalent of one pound of carbon dioxide to our atmosphere. 

We already pride ourselves on the quality of craftsmanship with our pre-cast products, distinguishing ourselves from our competitors is what we believe has allowed us success in the past. Carrying that same passion for quality craftmanship to this new venture we embark on will be a seamless transition but implementing an environmentally sustainable approach to our final product; from raw materials to our shipping supplies; is what we anticipate will differentiate us.
